I was tired and took the day off today except for a couple of conference calls and a trip to the cardiologist.

The cardiologist said things look as they should, and set 4 weeks as a reasonable goal for me to feel like myself again. I start cardiac rehab next week. I am trying my best. This was breakfast:

Except the bannanas, this all came from here. Spinach from the Salinas valley, almonds, Halos, and blueberries from the San Joaquin. Strawberries from Santa Cruz County. It made for a nice smoothie, and an improvement in my diet.

I shared your story with my wife. She panicked since we are of a similar age. I’m fine, but she’s had some funny stuff going on with her heart. I finally convinced her to try out a heart rate monitor when she exercised. The results weren’t good. She sees a doctor tomorrow and I expect him to refer her to a cardiologist.

In other words, thanks for sharing. You were the prompt to get her to go to the doctor.
